Something New

Today we are all I need of something new. We need a new fresh relationship with God. What we have is not enough. We are not strong enough or smart enough or anything enough without God. I heard my pastor say a verse today and it stuck with me. "why are you down in the dumps, dear soul? Why are you crying the blues? Fix my eyes on God-soon i'll be praising again. He puts a smile on my face. He's my God. " (Psalm 42:11) This verse comes from the Message Remix bible. God is our only hope.

A New Year

This week school is starting all over the area. Kids are going back to a new school year and now is the time to start fresh. Starting fresh means a lot of things to a lot of people but here is the big thing. It is time to let go of all the past mistakes and stop worrying about all the things that we let get in the way of where God wants us to go and what He wants us to do. Let us not allow the past to dictate our future.

In honor of the new year and new beginning I am starting a new blog. Fresh and not connected with the old. Why you may ask. Simple I am starting new and I am not going to connect my past with my future, who I was is not who I am. Things are different now.
