Lord I Want More

We need Jesus more now than ever. We are a people that needs more of God's presence. We are desperate for more of what God has for us and what he wants to do in us. We are crying out for more. We are tired of fake religion. Something different is needed.

"Before I shaped you in the womb, I knew all about you. Before you saw the lght of day, I had holy plans for you: a prophet to the nations- that's what I had in mind for you"

God has called his people, before we were in the womb he had plans for us. He knew that he had called his children to greatness. So what does the job description look like.

"your job is to pull up and tear down, take apart and demolish, and then start over, building and planting"

This even includes within the church. It is time to start with something new and different to take apart the old and put together something new.

When everything else fails

Sometimes it feels like everything in life crashes down and nothing works anymore. When all that is within you wants to cry out and say this isn't working we need something else, something different. All that is in you cries out for a generation that has been so hurt by everything that is in their life. For a generation that is looking for fathers and mothers that say I love you and I'm proud of you. For someone to acknowledge that what they are doing is good. For someone to show up when the good things happen. If the family is not going to step up then the church needs to step into this role. The church needs to be what the generation is looking for. I am sick of what the church has become.
